Since 1903, RACA has been at the centre of business and corporate development in Australia. We pioneered the automotive industry in Australia, our membership includes ASX listed CEOs and executives, entrepreneurs, and interstate members who use the RACA as their business base in Sydney. We regularly house Prime Ministers, ex-Prime Ministers and senior government and military figures.


The President is piloting a new event class at the RACA designed to resurrect the business standing of the Club, as we already host very senior events for major corporates and professional associations, so why not for our very own members!


These events are designed to achieve several key objectives:

1. Create a unique networking event for RACA business people to meet each other, and share ideas about how they can further build their business

3. Attract new members to the Club through guests of members

The first event will combine all three of these and so will have a unique format:

• Business mingling accompanied by drinks and hors d’oeuvres
• Welcome by the President (and in future a ‘to be’ appointed leader of the RACA CEO NETWORK)
• Presentation by a distinguished guest
• Q&A Session facilitated by our President and in future appointed members who have commandeered speakers
• Business networking event

For our first event we have secured a presentation on Australia’s newest Bank. AMP Bank has spent the last two years working with Starling Bank in the UK to export its world leading technology and adapt it for Australian use. This pioneering approach to small business banking has taken the UK by storm and offers unrivalled functionality to small and medium businesses looking for a lower cost higher functionality offering.

RACA is delighted to welcome the CEO of AMP Bank Mr. Sean O'Malley to the club, and he will present an update on the project to build and launch a new bank and how the latest in banking technology is available to small businesses Australia wide. Sean will then be available to answer questions from members and their guests.
