To name just a few of Max’s many accomplishments; Max initiated the Mawland Proposal for the conservation and adaptive reuse of the Quarantine Station in 1997. He personally financed the first stages of the development and coordinated the financing of the remainder of the project. As well as directing the conservation adaptive reuse work.

Suzanne Stanton, Corporate Counsel, studied  arts and law at the University of Sydney majoring in Australian Literature and Politics and then practiced law for many years as a partner at Gadens. Suzanne has acted for Mawland since the late 1980’s first on our project at Lilianfels and thereafter has been integrally involved in their property work, particularly in respect of negotiation and management of the QStation leasing and development. She joined Mawland as Corporate Counsel in house in 2004 and is now a Director of Mawland QStation Pty Limited.

With a number of ghost and history tours available through the Quarantine Station in Manly, this is bound to be a fascinating talk on a main part of Sydney’s history.
