Kartik is currently studying at the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music, undertaking a Bachelor of Music Performance in Classical Piano, the 21- year old also plays the guitar and sings. A family of five, his two sisters are also singers and drummers, a pathway chosen by their father instead of the original idea of tap dancing. From 2013-2015, Kuna served as an Artiste in the Singapore Armed Forces' Music and Drama Company, performing frequently at venues such as military camps, shopping malls, world-class hotels and popular tourist attractions. The vocation also required him to host and learn hip-hop and contemporary dance.
During his service, the biggest stage the seasoned performer has been on was at the Singaporean National Day Parade 2014, where he was one of the 17 singers chosen to represent the country for its 49th birthday alongside icons such as Rahimah Rahim, Jack n Rai, Sheikh Haikel and various other TV personalities, celebrities and singers.
The singer/songwriter launched his very first EP: WANDERLUST at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2015.
Kartik has partnered with Jess Wright, a fellow Sydney Conservatorium of Music student studying violin and the two have created a dynamic performance duo.
