Founded in 1874, The National Club is one of the leading business and social clubs in Toronto, with a membership comprised of prominent professionals in the business community including sectors such as banking, insurance, investment, marketing, retail, law, finance, and the ever-growing technology sector. Featuring renowned service and outstanding facilities, the club meets both the personal and business needs of its members, their spouses and guests.
A designated historic site, the current clubhouse was built in 1907 and combines a warm, comfortable, and elegant charm of the past with the contemporary, modern feel of today. It is directly accessible by the underground PATH network that connects to subway stations and major buildings in the area.
A dedicated team of professional staff cater to a range of business and social functions, allowing home and reciprocal club members to hold private meetings, banquets or conferences that accommodate 2 to 200 people. The National Club also offers a variety of dining facilities, providing excellent light meals and superb lunches and dinners, and a 40,000-bottle wine cellar. A business centre, meeting facilities, casual lounges and dynamic dining areas offer members and guests the perfect space for whatever their needs may be.
The National Club also offers five modern and stylish deluxe bedrooms of the highest quality, and one luxury suite. Each has a large bathroom, a bar refrigerator, a hairdryer, and a coffee maker with maid service available Monday through Friday and wireless internet access for business travelers. While the club is not open on weekends, arrangements may be made for guests arriving or staying during that time so that they may still take advantage of The National Club’s overnight accommodations.
