The beginning of a new Financial Year has arrived and while last year was a difficult one, The Club came out on top due to very good occupancy in accommodation and good visitation in Harbour Dining Room and Members Bar. We hope to see a lot more members visit our outlets this coming year as well as take part at the many events we have planned.
With last year’s Harvard Krokodiloes performance being such a success this year we have organised for them to come back and perform for our members. Those of you who missed out last year I highly recommend you book in, not only is it a high quality performance but a show like this creates a truly special atmosphere.
This financial year has seen a lot of change at the Club, including change in staff. We now have a complete in-house Membership and Marketing Team – we look forward to them bringing in new and fresh ideas and helping to promote all aspects of the Club. I would like to take this time to welcome all new staff including some new head of departments – Rafael Ruiz, our new Membership and Marketing Manager,
Rakesh Kumar, our new Finance Manager and finally Steve McCabe, our new Maintenance Manager. We are thrilled to have them here, should you see any of them around the Club please join me in welcoming them to the RACA Team.
As many of you are aware, we are in the process of upgrading the air conditioning system in the whole building. The major reconstruction is a three phase over three year process, I'm happy to report that phase one is complete and phase two is underway.
As a new Financial Year begins, please keep in mind that this is a great time to introduce new members by way of inviting friends, family and colleagues into your Club for a meal or an event.
