bridgegame

Bridge is derived from the 17th century card game whist, which was in vogue among the English nobility of the time. In whist, four players (who comprise two partnerships) are each dealt 13 cards from a 52-card deck, with a partnership's objective being to win as many tricks as possible.

Held in the Victoria Room, members and guests are looked after by an experienced instructor who supervises the day’s play, gives advice and assistance when required, and ensures everyone enjoys a relaxed and friendly day’s play”.

For their $30 players get more than a light lunch. They order their lunch from a selection of items from the Members Bar menu, and also get tea/coffee around 11am.
